The Northern Regional College in partnership with Skillbuild NI has held a series of one day College Inter Campus Competitions. The competition, which was organised by the Faculty of Building, Engineering and Science within NRC, is designed to test and challenge the ability of its students/apprentices working in the construction trades.

Sexual health issues are being tackled head-on in a taboo-busting DVD by media students at Northern Regional College Ballymena campus. The NRC students, in partnership with the Northern Health and Social Care Trust (NHSCT), launched the DVD today to raise awareness of sexual health and family planning services in college campuses.

GAA Academy BTEC Sports Class – who have been awarded the Edexcel BTEC Level 3 90-credit Diploma in Sport. These students are now completing the Edexcel BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport and were presented with GAA Cub Referees certificate, GAA Coaching Awards and GAA Child Protection Certificates.

NRC Level 3 Extended Diploma students in Travel & Tourism, as part of their studies have visited Dublin, to explore tourism opportunities in the capital city. The aim of the visit was to build up their knowledge and skills, by completing a residential study visit unit, promoting teambuilding and organisational life skills.
