NRC Creative Media Student Michael White has taken away a top award at The Royal Television Society (RTS) Awards in Belfast last week. The Ballymena student produced and directed a stop motion project entitled ‘A Christmas Surprise’ to scoop the Animation Category Award.

Two Foundation Degree students from Northern Regional College, Coleraine have recently secured permanent jobs at local Architects Studio Rogers. This follows a period of work experience which was organised by the college, originally as part of the course. The three year part-time Foundation Degree in Building Technology and Management offered by NRC in Coleraine has been running for eight years in partnership with the University of Ulster.

Counselling one-day professional development courses at Northern Regional College to include two world-leading experts in military and domestic violence trauma. An international seminar on trauma and its impact on families aimed at professional counsellors is to be hosted by the Northern Regional College (NRC) on Friday March 14 in Jordanstown. The seminar, supported by the Northern Ireland Council for Children and Young People (NICCY) will feature two world-leading experts on trauma from Kansas State University.
