Students from the Prince’s Trust Programme at the Coleraine Campus of the Northern Regional College have just recently completed a community project with Stepping Stones crèche. As part of the programme, this project included designing and producing art work for the inside and outside of the nursery.

HND Business Students from Northern Regional College, Magherafelt presented a cheque for total of £636.28 to Imedla McGucken, Centre Director of Charis Cancer Care. Students raised this money by holding a formal in the Glenavon House Hotel in Cookstown.

The Art and Design students of the Northern Regional College, Ballymena Campus have, as part of their course, been given the opportunity to help design a logo for youth organisation Start360's new drop-in centre in Ballymena which is opening shortly. The centre will be a 'One Stop Shop' for young people aged 11-25 for advice on a range of issues as well as a comfortable informal social environment.

Eileen Dempsey and Henry Heron, representatives from local construction company FP McCann paid a visit to the Northern Regional College, Coleraine campus recently to talk to students from Level 3 Construction and Level 2 Carpentry and Joinery. Both Eileen and Henry are former students of the college. Eileen achieved a National Diploma in Land Administration from Coleraine Technical College in 1994 and Henry gained a National Diploma in Construction from NRC Ballymena in 2008.
