Over 600 Northern Regional College Higher Education students celebrated success at the College’s graduation ceremony held at the Tullyglass Hotel in December. Students graduated from the Faculty of Care, Access and Creative Arts, the Faculty of Building, Engineering and Science and the Faculty of Professional and Leisure Studies. Guest speakers included John Armstrong, Managing Director, Armstrong Medical and Colin Walsh, Chair of the Confederation of British Industry (CBI) Northern Ireland.

Northern Regional College students from the Foundation Degree in Building Technology and Management were in DerryLondonderry recently to participate in two interesting study visits as part of Global Entrepreneurship week. The visits were organised by Course Director, Pat Condren and the group was accompanied by Curriculum Manager, Paul McCandless.

Northern Regional College Level 3 Extended Diploma in Travel & Tourism students developed a festive programme of activities for children at Harryville Primary School as part of their specialist unit of study – ‘Working as a Children’s holiday Representative’. Many learners completing the Level 3 Travel and Tourism programme are interested in pursuing careers within the tour operations sector as holiday representatives and particularly Children’ s Representatives in a variety of holiday destinations overseas.
