It’s an exciting time for nine NRC students as they prepare to head to The Skills Show in Birmingham next week. Dubbed the ‘Olympics’ for education and training, The Skills Show organised by Find a Future is the nation’s largest skills and careers event, attracting over 75,000 visitors. The show provides hands-on experiences that inspire young people to explore further education, skills and Apprenticeships.

Counselling students and professionals attended a one day Masterclass in Ethics hosted by Northern Regional College (NRC) and funded by Connected. Delivered by Professor Tim Bond, who is internationally renowned for his contributions to counselling and research ethics as well as his interest in dialogue between different cultural and moral positions, this masterclass covered extensively ethical framework and record keeping.

NRC campuses turned pink on Wednesday 22 and Thursday 23 October in aid of Cancer Focus Northern Ireland. Each of the campuses got into the pink spirit by having pink tea parties, pink raffles and pink nail painting all to raise vital funds for this charity.
