NRC has nine representatives in total competing in Birmingham this year. Dubbed the ‘Olympics’ for education and training, The Skills Show is the nation’s largest skills and careers event, attracting over 75,000 visitors. The show provides hands-on experiences that inspire young people to explore further education, skills and Apprenticeships.
Representing NRC are Jordan Douglas (Bricklaying), Robert Hamilton (Carpentry & Joinery), Dean Boyle (CNC Milling), Ryan Conor (Electrical Installation), Ryan Forsythe (Plumbing) and Conall Dowd, Peter Barkley, Paul McCaughern and Philip Anderson, all in the Mechatronics category.
