Northern Regional College is delighted to announce a new Level 3 Diploma in Digital Marketing course at the Magherafelt campus starting this September. This course is being introduced as we recognise Digital Marketing as one of today’s fastest-growing sector in the modern Communications environment. This completely new course is unique to Mid Ulster area and is staffed by Digital Marketing professionals who still work in industry. Digital industry experts teaching on this course include Naomh McElhatton and Lisa McGarry.

Stuart Cullen of Northern Regional College in Ballymoney has been announced as a Silver Teaching Award Winner in the category, The Award for Outstanding Use of Technology in Education in the Pearson Teaching Awards 2016. Selected from thousands of nominations received by the Pearson Teaching Awards in 2016, Stuart’s is one of just 55 celebrations taking place in schools and colleges across England, Ireland and Wales, with prestigious Silver Pearson Teaching Awards being presented to outstanding local heroes of education.
Continue Reading30 Travel and Tourism students from Northern Regional College Ballymena campus gathered at Belfast International Airport last week to celebrate their achievements in Airline and Airport studies. The students completed the awards in Year 1 and Year 2 of their Level 3 Travel and Tourism programmes. All students were successful and were awarded Certificates in Airline and Airport Passenger Service Agent Skills and Cabin Crew Operations. These awards offer important additional skills and knowledge in this specific sector of the Travel & Tourism Industry in preparation for employment specifically within the airline and airport sector of the travel and tourism industry.

The annual showcase celebrates the achievements of young people in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) and centres on an exhibition of innovative and exciting science projects, based around real world problems and carried out by students from schools across the island of Ireland.
