The visit, funded by Ballymena Borough Council to its sister city, Moorehead USA, is the result of a young person’s bursary award and the partnership between the College and Ballymena Borough Council.
The aim is to increase the knowledge transfer and learning through its international links for the benefit of the students and the local economy. Morehead and Ballymena have been sister cities for some years and the students, accompanied by their tutors David Russell and Barry Glass, had a chance to experience college life and attend master classes from industry professionals. One of the highlights of the trip was a visit to the Morehead University Space Centre.
