The Engineering Student Team made up of Anna Delargy, Gregory Hewitt, Conor Martin, Eoin McCaughan and Harry McCrory won four Awards at the Northern Ireland Heat of the Schools F1 Challenge last week including Best Team Identity, Best use of Research & Development, Best Engineering Car and 2nd Overall in Northern Ireland. Engineering tutor, Darren Houston said, “This has been a fantastic opportunity for the students to get hands on engineering and marketing experience. This is an intensive competition and the students have worked extremely hard to get this far. We are now looking forward to taking things to the next level in Birmingham.”

Congratulations to level 3 NRC BTEC Engineering Students from the Ballymena campus who have successfully won the opportunity to compete in the 2015 F1 in Schools UK National Final to be held at The Big Bang Fair, The NEC, Birmingham on the 12th and 13th March.
