Motor Vehicle students visit Belfast International Airport

Monday

Motor Vehicle students from Farm Lodge campus in Ballymena, studying in their 1st Year Skills for Work Motor Vehicle, visited Belfast International Airport to view the Motor Transport facility and Airport Fire & Rescue Service.

Students were able to view the state-of-the-art fire vehicles including the £750,000 Rosenbauer fire truck (pictured). A tour of the Motor Transport then demonstrated the wide range of airport vehicles maintained to the highest standards from tractors to snow-clearing equipment.

Belfast International is the largest airport in Northern Ireland serving 80 domestic and international destinations and serves over 4 million passengers per year.
