After a quick refreshment the students tackled the climbing wall, some relishing the challenge and the varying levels of difficulty it offered. The wind made the wall exciting, requiring an extra degree of skill when climbing, however for some the getting down was the worst bit; trusting the cable when lying back to walk down!
Next was Archery and with the wind picking up students moved inside to the indoor shooting range.
The final trial was virtual target practice; here the gamers came to the forefront, appreciating the similarities. The virtual environments and weapons were varied and the students even had the opportunity for team play. The expertise of the Pathways staff excellent and everyone was very confident with the events laid on, each finding their favourite.
Thanks to all the staff involved from RFCA and Pathways for a very enjoyable day.
