Fiona McDowell, Equality Officer said: “As a College we recognise that many of our staff and students have been directly or indirectly affected by breast cancer and we continue to play our role in being part of the cure. This annual event provides us with the opportunity to do this by fundraising, but to do so in a fun and engaging way which helps educate our workforce and students at the same time. The enthusiasm and support for all the events across the College is much appreciated.”

As the result of the College running its annual ‘Wear it Pink’ Day in the autumn, a cheque for £1980 was recently presented to Cancer Focus NI. Thanks go to staff and students across all campuses who organised coffee mornings, cake sales, beauty sessions and lots more to raise money for the charity.
