Prize giving ceremonies were held in Ballymoney (for Coleraine and Ballymoney students), Magherafelt, Newtownabbey and Ballymena – with a total of 140 prize winners attending with their families and friends.
College lecturers were also in attendance to see the students who were all top of their class get the recognition they worked hard for throughout the year.
Professor Terri Scott, Principal & chief Executive said: “Congratulations to all the prize winners at the Student Awards this week. All of the recipients have shown outstanding progress and a superb standard of performance on their chosen course, and I would like to commend both the students on their achievements and the highly committed teaching staff who helped them get there.”
Speaking of the awards, she added: “It is important to recognise the remarkable success of our outstanding students and to acknowledge what they have achieved. The Student Awards will do just that and I look forward to hosting them again next year.”
Laura Firth, Head of Student Experience commented: “This has been a fantastic and enjoyable opportunity for our students to celebrate their achievements with friends, family and teachers. My congratulations also go to all our prize winners.”
