Just under a quarter of the 140 strong workforce have completed Northern Regional College’s World Host retail programme, a flexible 2 day training arrangement which focuses on the principles of customer service, targeting new customers, and improvement of sales techniques, over the last few years
Established in 1993, Kenny's has been trading partners with the Henderson Group SPAR symbol, and currently has a portfolio of 6 retail outlets across the province. As a result of this training, each employee has gained a Level 2 certificate and is eligible to wear the World Host pin badge which recognises their customer service excellence. Speaking at a special ceremony to mark the achievements of his staff, Proprietor Kenny Bradley explained that the training will develop a competitive edge for his business:
“I am confident this training will set us apart from the competition through the delivery of excellent customer service and enhances are personal motto of ‘customer first task second’. We believe in developing high calibre staff who will understand and remain committed to our values of loyalty and team-work.
