Students studying for their Foundation Diploma in Art & Design at the Northern Regional College, with an interest in Architecture were offered some excellent advice from a past graduate of Edinburgh College of Art, Jessica Lammey.
With a number of NRC students applying to Edinburgh this year, the talk was extremely relevant with Jessica providing an overview and practical information on Architecture courses available to students. Jessica, who graduated in Architecture with an M-Arch degree from the Edinburgh School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture in 2012, offered the students top tips on the application and interview process.
Darlene Hagan-Bezgin, NRC Curriculum Manager in Art and Design, said, “This opportunity to discuss career options with Jessica’s has allowed students to get a clear understanding of what can be achieved and the career options which are available to young people who study art and design. Architecture is a subject where in the past; students from the Foundation Diploma in Art & Design from the College have been very successful.”
