This is a full time course for people who may experience learning difficulties/disabilities. This course will help prepare you for the world of work or further education courses. You will be able to build on the skills you already have and learn new skills.
Course Content
You will towards an entry level qualification in travel training, personal and social skills and build on your numeracy, literacy and ICT skills.
Classes will be small with high lecturer to student ratio. There will be support workers and students will be looked after at lunch and break.
Course Update
Please note that due to ongoing major campus construction projects courses at Ballymena, Coleraine and Ballymoney may be relocated to alternative suitable locations as required.There are no formal entry requirements, however applicants are required to attend an informal interview with the course coordinator.
You can progress to a range of part-time programmes designed specifically for students with mild to complex needs.

The qualification you take will depend on the qualification you already have. If you do not have a grade C or above in GCSE English, Maths or ICT, you MUST do Essential Skills. This will form a compulsory part of your timetable.
