Additional fees: A uniform is required, this will be discussed on induction. Kit - Reflexology mediums and towels will be required. Guest speakers may be invited and the additional charge for this is approx £25.
Course Content
The VTCT Level 4 Diploma in Reflexology for the Complementary therapist provides a progression route with advanced technical skills for already qualified Level 3 Reflexologists.
This qualification will enable you to add additional techniques and further develop your knowledge of the theories and practices for advanced applications of Reflexology.
Modules include:
UCT11M - Interpersonal skills for the complementary therapist
UCT17M – Advanced Reflexology techniques for the Complementary therapist – These include Auricular Reflexology, Hand Reflexology, Facial Reflexology, Chakra balance, supporting conception, Maternity Reflexology, Foot reading, Life limiting conditions & Palliative care
UCT12M – Advanced Anatomy and Physiology for the Complementary therapist
To achieve this qualification, it is advisable to allow 3 hours per week at home for assignment, case histories work.

Assessment Methods
A variety of methods are used to assess this qualification.
- Three practical assessments will be completed.
- A total of 36 hours of case histories showing a variety of advanced techniques.
- Assignment and group work in class.
- There are no online exams.

Course Update
Please note that due to ongoing major campus construction projects courses at Ballymena, Coleraine and Ballymoney may be relocated to alternative suitable locations as required.
The learner must hold a Level 3 Diploma in Reflexology (or equivalent) qualification. Anatomy and Physiology knowledge at Level 3 or equivalent is also mandatory.
In circumstances where there are more applications for the course than there are places available, the College reserves the right to select candidates from those achieving the highest grades.
Where mature students wish to have prior education and/or experience taken into account, in lieu of meeting the full course entry requirements, they should contact the relevant Course Director or Admissions by 12th August, as an application deadline will apply. It is at the College’s discretion to consider APEL enquiries after the dates stated.
This qualification is designed to different employment roles in the industry, self-employment, in a complementary therapy clinic, spa or private practice. This qualification may also lead into employment within a hospital, hospice, or other healthcare environment.
