Course Content
This accredited music technology course is designed to upskill learners in the practical and creative use of music technology commonly found in home or digital media studios. The course is delivered by skilled, industry professionals experienced in digital recording using today’s technology. The resources used on the course are affordable, available and capable of producing music/Foley/soundtrack solutions to a high standard.

How to use Apple Logic Pro
- recording midi and audio
- configuring audio and midi settings
- editing digital midi information and audio recordings
- VST instruments
- Mixing audio and applying effects
- Mastering from Logic
How to connect hardware to computers and record in Logic Pro
- Synthesizers
- Guitars
- USB and audio mixers
- Microphones both USB and XLR including condenser vocal mics and drum mics
- Best recording practice
How to export and share music creations including via social media and distribution services
As well as being a highly practical course, learners will develop skills needed to get the best possible recording and results from their compositions. Learn the legal and ethical constraints relating to using and sharing of music.
There are no predefined academic entry criteria, however applicants should be interested in digital music production, music technology and be able to commit to completing the Level 2 award in-class across the duration of the course
