This course will be taught online from week 3. Week 1 and 2 will be onsite for induction and familiarisation with the course and resources. There will be additional timetabled face to face sessions in each semester. Online delivery will be as per your timetable with 3 hours per module each week. In addition when you enrol on this course you will have access to Pearson’s state-of-the-art online learning resources. It is also recommended that you allocate sufficient time each week to complete assignments.

Lecturer Support
You will be guided throughout your online course with extensive lecturer support. You will be given the contact details of your lecturers and will be encouraged to email them regularly to get clarification on what you need to do to complete assignments and to receive feedback on a draft coursework. In addition, you will be encouraged to participate in online discussions with class members.

Course Aims
The aim of our Pearson BTEC HNC Business is to enable you to progress to a leadership role within your organisation by building your capabilities so that you are seen as an independent thinking decision maker with the confidence and skill set to manage a team, a budget and to deliver on key business objectives.
You will be able to make informed business decisions by developing an understanding of financial information, analysing trends within the market to realise insights whilst taking cognisance of changing government policies/legislation. You will develop the capability to carry out a recruitment and selection process that complies with NI equality legislation. You will understand how to manage projects, carry out online research and create professional marketing plans for senior management
